Christmas pictures

Just a quick post to share some more Christmas pictures of the kids opening some presents. Even on a tighter budget this year, they were happy with what they got. Cody and Cole both got heeleys. They have been practicing...which has involved several wipe outs but they are getting better. Cody has spent most of his time drawing pictures with his new art kit. He was so excited about getting a ream of white card stock. I had to laugh about that. Chad loves his Army jacket, we loved having Sandy over too. Kyle got some new soccer gear and Ipod accessories. We got Brek and Mark a cool new drills that is small but powerful. I got Brittany a Sunday dress and a couple of maternity shirts. I also made them a sign with their name on it. I got the red kitchen aid pots and pans that I wanted from Chad and Sandy. Mark hasn't got me the photoshop yet, but plans to. I got a really soft robe from my sister Julie and a precious moments figurine of a couple on a motorcycle from my mom. It's so cute! We did get several things for each kid, but also got a lot of family games. Mark and Cole are downstairs right now putting together a new puzzle. We like to play games as a family so I'm glad we got more to add to our collection.
I think I'd like to get all of my decorations down by this weekend, so I can start out the new year on the right foot. There's lots of new goals and organizational things I've got plans for. I never did get the upstairs of my house clean so that is on my to-do list as well. My scrapbook room is a disaster...seriously! Did any of you hit the sales today? I got my wrapping paper for next year and a couple of holiday clearanced items.

Hi Jolene, Merry Christmas! It looks like your family had a wonderful time, lots of happy faces. I've got upstairs tidying on my to do list as well but I'm really not looking forward to it! Enjoy the rest of the holiday season.

Such fun Christmas photos ... your family looks like they had a wonderful Christmas, with lots of really great gifts.

I took all the ornaments off of my tree yesterday, now Mike just has to help me get the tree out of the living room. I too want to start the New Year with a fresh start ... and room for Griffin to play again ... with all of his new toys!

I didn't go shopping. I did hit a few websites though. I went to Target of Christmas Eve-does that count? :)

Dear Jolene:

Your pictures are lovely. I'm going to have to steal those pots and pans from you. Then again, would I really use them?!?!? I need a new set, but I hardly use the ones that I have.

Does Sandy *ever* have a bad hair day???

Wow! What great gifts! And I love the games. My family loves playing games too! Whenever we have a family dinner we always drag out the board games. I actually added a couple for us to have here this year. I always would ask my niece to bring a game with her. One year I forgot to ask and when she went to get a game she announced...we have Trivial Pursuit...3 different editions...and Clue. That was it!!! I always gave games as gifts and never kept any for here. The one we had the most fun with was Cranium...we laughed ourselves silly.

Thanks for the camera tips. I plan to email Sue as well.

What great pictures. Looks like everyone had a great time. We also play lots of games at our house. This year we got the new Monopoly and then Trival Pursuit 80's. At least twice a week you can find us on the couch playing a game.

What a great looking bunch! Looks like everyone enjoyed their gifts. I did hit the after Christmas sales until my little one had enough. I don't think she liked being out in the 30 degree weather!
