Christmas card pictures

ACCCKKKK!!!! We took loads of pictures today and not one turned out good!!! Do you have any idea how hard it is to get 9 people and a picture of a person to cooperate all at the same time for pictures??? Seriously...it's insane!!! First of all, Cody didn't smile in any of them, so I had to take him out of the factor when trying to narrow down my decision. We had blinkers, non smilers, Chad's picture with major glare, baby crying, you name it, we had it going on. As you can see I decided to go with wearing camouflage at the Army National Guard base (in the museum part) They won't let you take any pictures outside. I thought since Chad is at boot camp right now, he'd like to know that we are all thinking about him and want to make sure he is included. His girlfriend Sandy is holding his picture. She's a doll! Please tell me it's okay, because I don't have the time or patience to re-do them. Here is the message that will be on the inside of the card with the picture. I hope it's large enough to read.
So did you all have a nice weekend???

Cute photo!!!

Where did you get the baby's onesie? He looks so sweet. The concept of this year's picture is wonderful, especially with your son being away.

So sorry Cee...don't want you to go through withdrawls. :o) I got all the shirts at Larada's on Main Street....including baby Mark's onesie. They were 10% off on Veterans day.
Thank you so much!!!

I knew you would come up with something creative. I am not mailing cards out yet. I am thinking I might get a family pic and send that out maybe. Start slow, right? I bet Chad will appreciate your Christmas card. I miss him. When does he get to come back?

Awesome idea. It is so hard to get a good picture with so many people but you worked it well.

Jolene, your family photo is amazing. Chad will be delighted you were able to include him in the picture and it's so obvious you all were thinking of him when the photo was taken. What an absolutely, wonderfully, creative way to show your love!

I think the picture is wonderful, and what a great idea! I love picture cards, I only sent out one while I was married of un in Italy...and we were divorced shortly after (hmmmm...)

I had a creative weekend, and thought my kidneys were acting up today, but realized finally that it's because I was on the floor cutting, measuring and in front of the sewing maching too long (lol)

Oh wow, Jolene! That is one of the most original, and most appropriate, Christmas card pics I've ever seen. I don't know your Chad, but I'll bet this will mean so much to him - and impress his buddies at boot camp!

Jolene: RE, withdrawals, your blog postings are always so nice and cheery. You've created such a warm environment. There have been times that I've felt down, and your blog was the cheer-up that I needed.

Off to check on my food. I am actually cooking tonight. The pots and pans are saying, "Wow, can you believe that we're about to see light?" HA!
