Graduation Day!

My handsome graduate boy, Kyle who worked his tail off taking extra classes and a heavy load to graduate a year early. I'm so proud of him! He is such a great young man. So far he has been the easiest teenager. Perhaps he learned from watching his naughty older brothers when they were younger. :o)
I love you Kyle!

Cute Miss Sandy with her diploma and awards. I've already mentioned all the amazing things she's accomplished this year. She's a great girl. We are proud of her too!

My sisters Julie and Coleen with foster baby, Maryella (top of Kaden's head) who came to be a part of our cheer section.

Chad with the graduates

Mark, Chad and Cole

(Cody stayed home...said it was too boring to go. Whatever!)

Proud parents....tired parents! Mark came straight from work. I had my hair up because I had been preparing food all day for the celebration BBQ Friday night. I thought I was being nice to keep my hair out of the potato salad. :o) Neither one of us were looking our best, but we made it in time to get good seats.

My sweet boy loves his mom. :o)

Afterwords, Mark went on a motorcycle ride with the guys. Me Julie, Coleen, and Cole went to Taco bell for a quick bite to eat. Chad, Kyle, Sandy and their friends went out to dinner to celebrate. I bet their having a blast together.

Time for bed. I have to get up early because I have lots more food to make and prepare for the party....oh and the cleaning...ugggg... :o)

A *HUGE* congratulations to Kyle and Sandy... how exciting for them.

I have just noticed that all your boys have 4 letter names, did you do that on purpose?? I wanted to call Brie *Zoe* but in about the 9 month we took a disliking to it.

Have a great party tomorrow.

Jolene... I can only imagine how your heart could feel overwhelmed with love, joy, excitement and fear. You are a very lucky woman and I think possibly one of the greatest Mom's ever. I know that is why your boys love you sooo much. Lucky family.
Heartfelt congradulations to both Sandy and Kyle. Now what lies ahead is scary for them. I'm sure that they will both do great!
Enjoy your bbq and actually take the time to enjoy your family. Don't worry so much about the details. it will all come together in the end. You got it covered super mom!

I completely understand the "not looking our best" comment! It seems I am so worried about the girls on their special days my appearance always suffers! And of course those of the days I am finally caught in a photo! LOL! But I like to think it is the sign of a great parent...parents who come too "fluffed up" obviously didn't focus as much on the child or their event, right?! Either that, or they're just richer and hire caterers, and such?! Hmmm.....never thought about that! LOL!!! Enjoy the party today and take a moment to step down as hostess and just savor the joy of it all!!!!!
Hugs,
-d.

Well that explains why we didn't remember Kyle being the same age as Nic!

I was going to call you today and tell you 75 announcements and could you start working on them immediately but realized it was the 2nd not the 1st and you didn't have a houseful of people coming over in 4 hours....so wasn't funny.

This is the only form of communication I have with you Jolene... Wish Chad well, be safe and know that everyone is thinking of him.
My heart goes out to you, as nice as it is to have him home, it tears at your heart to send him back. Words cannot tell you how I feel for you today.
Be proud when all else seems to be wrong today!
