New hair

Inside
Outside
Well, it's done! It's darker and shorter. I have thin, frizzy, unhealthy hair so when it grows even a teeny bit it looks damaged so we cut off all the icky ends and Mark got his wish for darker brown with red highlights. Knowing him, it's not dark enough, but I think it turned out pretty well. At the age of 39 I've come to the realization that I can NEVER have long hair and that makes me very sad. Even when I was a young girl my sisters all had long pretty hair and my was short and mousy. Those were the cards I was dealt. We all can't have thick, long, shiny, gorgeous hair. It's part of what makes us different. and yes my eyes look tired. I look this way at the end of everyday. :o)
I hope you all had a happy Monday!...Oh heck...I just typed Monday and realized it's Tuesday. Dang! Okay...same wishes for Tuesday. :o)
Quick question before I go...Anyone else have their hands fall asleep while they're driving? Mine do every time. I think it's from years of woodworking and painting. Makes me nuts!

Bonus points for Mark...he was right about red hi-lites...your hair looks wonderful and you dear Jolene are beautiful inside and out!

To answer your question, I don't believe my hands have ever fallen asleep while I was driving. Not sure what would cause that. Now I did have a problem with my right hand when I was on the computer for a long time but I got a wrist support thing and it took care of it.

Your hair looks great!!

As for the hands thing I had that problem but it was called Carpull Tunnell. And I too got hand splints until they continued to go asleep at night then it was time for some surgury because they were so painful with the numbing and getting feeling back.

I hope that isn't the problem!

You look fabulous! I like your hair just the way it is, if it was long you wouldn't be you! :)

It's carpel tunnel, Jolene. You should go to the doctor as soon as you can. A dear friend of mine suffers from the same symtoms.

Your hair looks great! It is carpel tunnel. I do the same thing, went to the doctor and they did these tests on my arms and hands and thats what my diagnoses was.

a lady after my own heart! as you know...I had my own 'issue' with my hair two weeks ago... and like you, I would give my eye teeth for long, thick hair. I had it in high school and college, but haven't had it for probably 28 years... now, if you want long hair, you go get extentions!! Who can afford that?? So short it is...but indulged in color! You look beautiful, Jolene! You go, girl! : )

Love the new color--it looks so good! I wish my husband would give me his opinion. I always ask and he always says, "I don't know, whatever." :)

Love the hair-you young one *smile* You would be shocked if I took a pic of my hair at this time. The GRAY is really bad. I have not had the privilege of having thick hair. My brother got the Italian thick curly hair.

Darn.

Take care,
LOve,
Terri

Love the new do!! Looks very nice on you! I would love to go dark! BTW - I am so jealous of your fruit and veggie haul. I wish we had one of those here!

I dyed my hair this week too - I was trying to let a not-great color grow out, but I have a wedding this weekend and I wanted my hair all one color. No more two-tone for me!

Yours looks very nice, by the way.

Hi Jolene,

I think your hair looks really pretty...very healthy! I found it funny that you commented on your eyes looking tired because I had immediately noticed what a striking COLOUR they are...silly girl! The brown must make them stand out.
By the way, no, my hands have never fallen asleep when I drive, but I have !!!LOL Just kidding...

Mark being so opinionated about your hair cracked me up. Too funny. I think it looks great.

The new "do" looks great!
and about the hands falling asleep...oh yeah...all the time. Do we have carpeltunnel (sp?) or is it just a sad sign of old age?! I was a sb sales rep before working on this book so I was in my car ALL the time, dh would have to rub life back into them that night when I got home. He thinks it is because my back and neck are out of adjustment all the time, but he's not a dr., so we're all jut guessing! LOL! Happy Thursday!

Hey ... while we are complaining about hair, let's complain about mine being an unnatural color from my hair experiment. ha. Crazy blond orange white weird hair.
Which ducks should I send? The wedding ducks or the pirate looking duck? Or the lucky bingo duck? I want your opinion before I send, please.

I think your hair looks just gorgeous!!! What I would not give for straighter hair. My girls got the straight hair, but mine is so curly!!
