gone camping

I honestly have zero time to blog. I leave for girls camp at 5:30 in the morning (Monday) and I'm no where near ready to go. Fear has set in and my stress level this weekend is beyond high. As an added bonus Aunt Flow JUST arrived. I'm in tons of pain. Perfect timing as usual. I'm really not doing very well (a complete wreck if I'm being honest), but will try to look for all the positive things while I'm gone. I've been hammered with so much cruddy stuff lately that the good stuff should be easy to spot. I will update when I get back...should I not be in a coma.
Miss Jenny Lee, my dearest childhood friend...I haven't had a chance to email you yet. I'm SOOO sorry! It's not from a lack of desire. I can't wait to catch up with you. I've missed you tons!

Ack, what (not so perfect) timing for the dreaded Aunt to show up! Poor you!

Hope you have fun camping! It'll all be over soon!

I'm sure things will work out amongst the crap. They usually do. At least I know you'll survive it. We will catch up. Don't worry. Do you remember that you were the one who taught me how to tie my shoes? I will forever be in your debt...as it has come in handy over the years. :) Love ya!

That Aunt showed up to see me while I was at camp too. While on our 6 mile hike! I hope that once you get to camp that you can relax and enjoy yourself. I know it did wonders for my spirit to be at camp.

Hugs!

I'll be praying for you Jolene!

My 19 year old son is working at our church camp at Mountain Meadows in Christopher Creek for the next two weeks.
So it will be easy for me to pray for you too Jolene... for strength, energy, creativity, joy and peace.

You will do GREAT Jolene!

Jolene, I can't tell you how much I love reading your blog. That's too bad about your mean Aunt showing up uninvited. ;) I'm sure you'll make it through, and have lots of exciting adventures.

Oh, and Miss Jenny...I know you. I believe I met you at Amber Caylor's a couple times, if my memory serves me correctly. So...HI!

Hi Jolene - members of our ward went to Camp Zion to build an obstacle course Friday for our B.O.O.T. camp so I wandered down to say meet you and say hello but you and your ward had just left. I hope your week was fabulous, we go up on Monday. I'm sure we are going to get rain too! While wandering the camp we saw a pile of things someone left behind (sleeping bag, fanny pack, etc.) but one of the crafts was there too and I must say they are terrific! You did a great job! I wanted to take it home with me, LOL, but I returned it to the caretaker cabin. :)
love, Cori

You sure have been in my thoughts Jolene. Robin C. and I even has a talk at work wondering about how you were surviving your "camping experience". I trust you're surviving. Lots of prayers went up for you.

I know you'll have pictures to share and stories to tell when you return.
