Oh Christmas tree.....

I've been working on Christmas decorations, but haven't had much time to devote to it, so my hall is full off containers. I have been able to talk to Chad everyday on instant message. That is time well spent in my book. I told him how to read comments today and he was so appreciative of all of your support. He is feeling really good about his decision now and I really think that having so many people who are backing him up helps. He wanted me to thank you all for your kind words.
The two ornaments are ones I picked up in Utah. I loved the little candle and I couldn't resist the nut because...well, my blog title has to do with nuts and it's too cute! :o)
So how many of you have started decorating?...me...obviously.
Do you decorate outside too?...me...sometimes.
Have you started shopping? ...me...nope.

Your tree looks wonderful Jolene! And I love the ornaments. Now I feel so far behind. I did manage to get all my fall decorations down this weekend and packed away but haven't gotten around to putting out any of the Christmas things yet. Guess I'd better get a move on.

Glad to hear Chad is doing well and that you get to talk with him often.

Hi Jolene-your decorating is awesome! You got great photos too. Did you turn off the flash? We are decorating too big time and I discovered shopping on line, so got lots done. Hang in there with your boy-time will help a lot! I promise....

I actually "boycotted" putting up the Xmas tree until we got the living room painted. Well, guess what? It's painted. The repair on the windows got done last night and I put the blinds back in today. So, hopefully I can start digging out the decorations this week. Your tree and all your decorations are beautiful. So festive.

Decorations look so great! I have mind up, somewhat, but need to finish, and probably won't have time till next week because we're going out of town this weekend.

Ooooh your tree makes me want it to be the weekend now so I can do mine LOL. So beautiful.

I have started shopping but still have a looooong way to go, sigh.

Chad seems to be a good man, it's hard not to feel supportive of him. I'm so glad that this wonderful thing called the internet brings him closer to you all at this time.

Your tree is gorgeous! Love it!

I actually dragged out the Christmas stuff on Saturday and got most of it out, although not all of it yet.

I tried to talk my husband into putting on outside lights but he claims we don't have enough so we will have to hit the after-christmas sales this year so we will have them for next year.

As for shopping... nope! Haven't started...

Christmas is definitly in the air at your home! Simply stunning and beautiful! I wish I had it in me to decorate like that this year, but I don't... so I will 'visit' your beautiful home from time to time! How nice that Chad is able to receive the love and support from everyone here...he deserves it all. Jolene, how much longer until that 'boy' of yours lands on US soil for good???

I've been working on getting my tree up for 3 days now. Being pregnant, I just can't get it all done at once. My hubby brought it down from the attic but he doesn't like putting it together...I'm always the one to do it. Your decorations are beautiful! Will you come decorate for me? I have started shopping and working on some of my crafts. Going to take Christmas card pictures this weekend hopefully!

Your tree is beautiful! I think I'm going to put up mine this weekend. The indoor decorating is my job, and Chris gets the fun job of putting up the lights outside! And luckly, most of my Christmas shopping is done! I started way in advance!

Oh I just knew yours would be spectacular! I have already decorated, got the tree up, shopped (not done though) and am working on the cards. Just gotta get someone to send me some Christmas goodies as I probably won't feel like baking much in the next few weeks as I have surgery coming up on Thursday. Oh well if that is all I don't get done for Christmas I am so blessed!
Very glad Chad is feeling good about his decision. He is such a smart boy. You have reason to be proud Jolene.

We're done decorating the inside of the house, haven't started the outside yet. It's been raining and very cold. All we need to do it put out the net of lights on each shrub in the front yard and hang bows on the railings though. Shouldn't take too long! Oh and we don't haev the electric candles in our windows yet, probably because we added 3 new windows to the front side of the house and there isn't any electircity in there yet, so it might look odd with only some of the windows lit up! Almost done shopping!

The tree is up, and the Christmas village is up, but everything else is just a mess. Containers in my hall too! And my living room, and my office…

We haven't put our outside lights up yet, because it's been raining. And I've gotten a few presents, but I'm feeling completely overwhelmed by the thought of going shopping this year!

The mantle and dining room are done, no tree yet. Porch is being done tonight. Cards are bought, pictures will be picked up this week for those cards.
Oh my...

But most of the shopping is done. I think!

I am so glad you can *talk* with Chad this way. He has the support of all of us!

Love ya,
Sue

Your tree and ornaments look BEAUTIFUL as do your other decorations! I love that first snowman and the silent night angel, just beautiful! I have started shopping just a bit and I have started decorating just a bit, but we should have done our outside lights last weekend because this weekend it's supposed to SNOW!
I'm glad Chad is doing well. You are raising such nice boys into men Jolene!!!
Big hugs,
Jeanette

I know the ornaments that you bought because you bought me the same ones that year that I tried to take some of your hand painted ones. Remember???? Sorry! I want you to make me something!!! I don't have any of your crafts in my home and I am your sister. There's something wrong with that. My tree is very bare compared to yours so I could still use TONS of ornaments and things for whoever has chosen me for an exchange. My cat Milo has already broken about 4 or 5 just last night. Crap head. Love ya!
