Baby Mark

On Friday I got to take care of Mark while Brek and Brittany got some things done. Cole and I went and picked him up after running a few errands and having lunch together. It was fun to get some one on one time with him. Planning on doing something with just Cody this week....then Kyle. Cole and I did take baby Mark to Target to pick up some baby gifts for women in the family who either had a baby or who is having a baby very soon and I had to get him a couple of little outfits and a new toy too. I plan to pass on my love of barns to him. Next will be a John Deere tractor. :o)
My sister in law Tammy had a beautiful baby boy on Thursday. This is her third and she doesn't ever go into labor so she has to do c-sections. When the doctor cut through the first layer they were very surprised to see that there was NO muscle to cut through. They could see the baby through the very thin uterus wall. After the baby was delivered they had to to do some repair work by pulling over and up muscles to stitch her up, so she is pretty sore. They planned on this being their last baby because she has such hard pregnancies, and the doctor said that there is no way she could carry another one so they tied her tubes. I'm so grateful that Heavenly Father was watching over her. It was very dangerous for her. I went to the hospital with my sister in law, Cam to visit Tammy and welcome little Rowan Luke George to the family. It made me get even more excited for my next grandson to arrive. Speaking of which...last week Brittany was having contractions every 15 minutes, then when she woke up the next morning they had stopped. She went to the doctor on Thursday and she is dilated to a 1 and 50% effaced. The baby has dropped as well, so things are moving along and hopefully it will be soon. She's not due until August 7th, but I would like July. :o)
P.S. Happy mail day came on Saturday!!! I got 3 books in the mail from Deanna with handwriiten sticky notes that made me grin from ear to ear. I'm so excited to read them. Thank you so much Deanna! When I'm done with these, I plan to work on that long list of great suggestions.
P.S.S. Nicole...I need your address to mail you a baby package. Can you email me please.

I can't believe she is so close to delivering that baby - it seems like just a couple of weeks ago you announced she was pregnant again!

What a wonderful little guy and update! Thank you, Jolene, sharing with us. I'm grateful that your sister-in-law is well and that there are many 'baby blessings' on your family! As I think about your blogs, have you taken a minute to look back at all that you have gone through/accomplished this year so far?? Look at all that has happened and how well you have handled it all! You are a beautiful spirit and so loved by so many... continued blessings your way, dear Jolene! : )

What fun to have one on one time with the little guy! I was thinking about someone having a girl in the family soon...she would be spoiled beyond belief! Thank goodness for your sister-in-laws good fortune for a healthy baby, and being able to keep herself healthy as well...

Baby Mark is so cute. That's my in-laws call my Mark. However, my Baby Mark just turned 7. Wonder if he will ever out grow that nickname.

Mark is too cute for words. Love his little t-shirt. Cole looks like he enjoys being an uncle!! Very happy that your SIL is o.k. and that all will be good in the end. I don't know how you find the time but thanks for blogging. I absolutely love to read about what is going on in your part of the world! You're an awesome woman!!

So much fun going on at your house. And all the new babies! Gosh, seems like so recently that I was waiting to go into labor with Tristan. Where does the time go? And now he is making up his own mind about things and shining sunshine all over our house. He'll be 4 in September.
