National Scrapbook Day....

Yesterday was national scrapbook day. I convinced my sister Coleen to come over to my house to scrapbook by telling her it would be a sin not to scrap ON our holiday. Now her husband thinks I'm an idiot, but I don't care. She came over and we had a great time. She got several way cute layouts done and in her new album. I started to work on graduation announcements, but that was clearly not as fun as working on my own pages. This was a day for fun so I put those things away. I only got these 4 pages done. For some reason I was in turtle mode and didn't get alot accomplished. I still love what I did get done. I was planning on going crazy with embellishments, but decided to keep it simple. I'm so glad I did! I love the feeling you get when you look at pages you've done and all the memories of that event or day comes flooding back. It's so satisfying.
I hope all my scrapbooking friends out there had a wonderful, productive, fun day!

Love your layouts, Jolene. Very pretty! I didn't do any scrapbooking, but I did get some stuff done and life is good. :)

Love your pages! That is some of my favorite Chatterbox!

I got 3 pages done on Friday night, 1 on Saturday night and 2 on Sunday! We had a big cyber crop at 123 so I had to try to keep up with everyone else! Granted being out of the house at baseball and soccer all day on NSD was definitley a hinderance!

Glad you had fun!

I'm such a duh. You said "turtle mode" and I was looking for your pics of turtles. lol! Even in "turtle mode" you got more done than I did, so "GO YOU!" Simple and Done is better than the heap of NOTHING I have here! MUST SCRAP SOMETHING SOON or I'll forget how!
