It's a BOY!!!!!

As you can see from the ultrasound, he was not shy. He's all BOY! We pretty much knew since boy's in the George family HIGHLY out number the girls. Doesn't he have the cutest little face. He wouldn't turn all the way over to get a better shot, but still cute! Now we can finally shop!..hee..hee..
On a down note, there was a problem. He has a hole next to his belly button that didn't close and his small intestines are on the outside. After he is born he will be taken to surgery to have them tucked back in where they go. Of course it is a very scary thing to all of us to hear there is a problem, but they assure us it's fixable. Brittany will be closely monitored and have lots of ultrasounds to make sure everything stays healthy. Please keep this sweet little baby in your prayers.

In my excitement, I totally skimmed the downside. The Lord will take care of him. I just know in my heart if we all pray it will be fine.

Yay a boy!!! Congrats. Those 4D ultrasounds are too cool. I know you are worried but after he's born everything will be just fine. We will say a prayer for the little baby dude and Brittany.

Do we have a name yet? :)

Hi, I just was reading comments from Donna D's blog and linked to yours. I wanted to assure you about the gastroschsis, I work at Vanderbilt Childrens Hosp in Nashville, Tn I am a surgical technologist (scrub nurse) we do alot of these here. I work at from 7p -7a --seems like when we get most of them, They can do so much for these little guys and usually after the are closed up you can't even tell that they were born like that. I will keep you in my prayers, I a sure wherever you are that he will be taken care of. Tina

We are very excited to meet this little guy. Yes Nicole, that is his cute little face. They didn't have that kind of ultrasound when I was having babies. Very cool!

I have a good friend who had the same thing happen with her daughter. Since it was caught before she was born they were ready for it. Today she is a happy, healthy nine year old!!
