Chad called me when he got to Atlanta....after spending 12 hours on a plane and still not reaching his destination. The group of boys ended up spending the night in a hotel, then going back up to the airport to wait for a bus that was suppose to take him to the base. They had been waiting all day for the bus when I talked to him. He was suppose to be able to call home for a quick I made it here safely kind of thing, but we still havent heard anything. Am I allowed to be worried yet??? As for sending goody packages, I think I'll take Nicole's advice and not send anything until I know he won't get reemed for it. He sure doesn't need added stress at boot camp.
I wanted to thank all of my blog readers. I appreciate that you are interested in my life enough to keep coming back everyday and I really appreciate the comments that show support, give advise, or just make me feel good and lets me know your here so I don't feel like I'm talking to myself. I love reading them. This blogging world is an amazing thing. Thank you! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Mount Laundry is feeling neglected here in the George house, so I better attend to it today before it takes over. Not exactly fun and exciting, but needs to be done none the less. Any tips for making laundy fun? or at least interesting? :o)

Oh he's simply beautiful...wow!!
I hope his bowels get straightned out soon. The anticipation must be killing you guys! But on the other hand, it's best for him to be there until he's good and ready to come home.
Try not to freak yet about Chad...although it's hard not too...unfortunatley you have no choice but to await his call because I'm assuming you have no way of reaching him. :( Hang in there Mom!
Mt. Laundry, roflmao! I have that too, but mine is to fold and put away!!
making laundry fun? taking it to the local Fluf & Fold so THEY can do it. sounds like fun to me!
Wow that is one cute baby!! I am so glad he is doing so well. I pray he will come home soon.
I am sure they are keeping Chad busy. He won't forget to call home first chance he gets....hang in there (by the phoone hee hee)
Baby Mark is getting big and cute. I haven't seen him since his birthday. He'll be home soon enough.
I can't believe Baby Mark is already 2 weeks old! Wow does time fly! Hugs and happy thoughts to you, sweetie. I don't think you need to worry about Chad, he's in good hands. xoxo
2 Weeks? Already? Good Heavens! I know he'll be straightned out soon...and what a good and sweet mama Brittany is, I'll bet she's excited to get him home soon...he'll never get put down will he?
Mt. Laundry...I love it! Good luck with that...my last week is still sitting waiting to be folded up...and this weeks is waiting to be washed...sigh.
Jolene, thank you for sharing the beautiful photo of Baby Mark ... seeing it put a big smile on my face. It's so nice to hear that he is doing well ... he will be home before you know it.
Good luck with the laundry situation ... we only have 3 people in our house and Sunday is "laundry day" here ... and it's a mess ... so, I too will be tackling laundry today.
I can't believe he's 2 weeks already! Better start saving for college!
Love ya!
Baby Mark is sure growing fast, his little cheeks seem to be getting bigger!
About the laundry thing: how to make it fun: let someone else do it! Hey, it was a good try anyways right?
I can't wait to see him when I come to visit, He's definatly a George boy.
