Saturday morning we rode up to Tortilla Flat just above canyon lake for breakfast. Mark and I use to take the boys up there all the time when they were little. There are dollar bills stapled to ever square inch of walls that are signed by people from all over the country and some from other countries. Several years ago, it burnt down, so when they rebuilt, they had to start over. It didn't take long to fill up the walls again. We picked up Mark and John little t-shirts too...so cute! Canyon lake looked kind of erie because they drained so much water from it to work on the dam. I like to take pictures while we ride. It's fun to capture movement. On the way back to town we stopped and Goldfield ghost town to get some pebbles for my lesson Sunday.We hung out there for a while to watch some magic tricks, a gun fight, shopped in the general store. It was a lot of fun. On the way home while we were riding on the freeway and we drove through a swarm of bees. All of the motorcycle windshields were covered with sticky splats. That breakfast ride turned into being gone for most of the day. Put me way behind schedule of stuff that had to get done, but it was a fun day!

Oooh, you make me want to check it out... I've never been there before!
But guess what? My hubs and I drove back from San Diego through your town! I was blown away by how much that area has grow! Randy and I drove out there 25 years ago in his 69 Dodge Charger and he went over 100 mph and I was sooo terrified! But there was nothing out there but that little Baptist church... which was why we were there, to do a Sunday night concert. Man, I had forgoten that memory till we drove through there!
I kept telling Randy, my friend Jolene lives here!
