This will be my 5th year making Christmas cards. Last years were my favorite. They were just fun and cute! I made 200 cards that year. These two pictures show the front and the inside of the cards. Some years our pictures are on the front of the card and some on the inside...depending on the design. Last year had both because I couldn't resist using the silly one too.
2004 I stamped all of that on there. It took forever and my fingers cramped beyond belief. 200 cards this year too.
I couldn't find the cards from 2002 and 2003, byt this is the photo I used for 2003 It was navy blue, simple but cute. I can't even remember the design of 2002, but I remember we were all sitting on and around the diving board of the pool wearing different colored solid t-shirts and jeans and Cinnamon was in the picture too. That was before I had digital cameras. I made 100 cards in 2002 and 180 in 2003. My list keeps growing every year and I don't even give them to everyone I know. There is just no way I could do that. So to answer your question...yes I am really going to make 240 cards. Actually I've spent most of the day working on them. This is why I normally start October 1st and why I was stressed about not getting the Chatterbox paper early enough. I am WAY behind schedule. It's crunch time to get them in the mail by Thanksgiving weekend. :o)

What a beautiful family! Your pictures and cards are wonderful. I adore that you're all dressed alike. I think more people should think before they have their family photos made. I've seen some "doozies" with the group dressed in everything from tank tops to formal wear and leisure suits all in the same photo...YIKES!!!
A recipient of one of your cards should feel like they have a real treasure...they're just beautiful!

Jolene, I am also a huge fan of chatterbox. My sister-in-law is pregnant and I am making her a book out this adorable baby stuff from chatterbox. Havent even started to think about my chirstmas cards. I usually use snowmen on them, i guess I better get on the same wagon you are on. Although, it sounds as though you might be done before me. I usually send out around 80. This year will be more because I am going to send them to brian's cleints as well. Thanks for sharing, you have been on a roll with your postings lately, at least one of us is!
I think it is so awesome you have such a large family and do this every year. I have three children right now but want more and the "Christmas Card Pictures" is a tradition that I want to start and continue as our family grows! Thanks for being so inspiring.

Jolene - I have a feeling you are going to keep me on task this year. I called Marissa and we decided what we would wear for photo's for our cards and we are having pics taken Thanksgiving morning. Maybe I will have my cards done and I can just slap the photo's in. Let's see if I can keep up with you. Thanks for the inspiration. Hey can you tell me how to get the slide on the side of my blog ?
